How to get in the lineup

• Find the song request slips. They'll be on the red cases near the KJ table.
• Write (legibly) your name, the name of the song you want to sing, and the artist if you know it.
• Hand the slip to the KJ.

There are books that list the songs we have available. The red books are by Artist and the blue books are by title. The large books have most of the songs. The smaller books list songs that we got after we printed the bigger books. But even the smaller books are out of date, so if you don't see what you want, ask or use the Search feature above.

Karaoke Etiquette

• We try to get people up as quickly as possible. Listen for your name and try to be ready. This keeps things moving so more singers can get in.
• Take care of the gear: Don't tap, drop, lick or breathe directly onto the top of the microphone.
• Respect the rotation: Wait your turn patiently. Do not pester the KJ to move you up.
• Mind the length: Avoid excessively long, 10-minute epic ballads that stall the entire rotation.
• Do not hijack the mic: Do not grap a second microp[hone or jump on stage to sing along unless the main singer explicitly invites you.
• If you sing a duet with somebody, that's your turn for that rotation.
